Donations to local families of Christmas 

Simon from Premier Contractors has donated £500 worth of Christmas presents along with £500 in gift vouchers to the Redruth Rotary Club, helping to support local families and ensure children don’t go without this Christmas.

The donations were handed over to Stella Barber, President of the Redruth Rotary Club, and Brian Barber, a member of the Rotary Club, who will be distributing the gifts and vouchers through local food banks across the area.

Simon said the donation was simply about giving back to the local community at a time when many families are struggling:

“Christmas can be an incredibly difficult time for some families, especially with the rising cost of living. If this helps even a few children wake up to something special on Christmas morning, then it’s absolutely worth it.”

Support on the day also came from Lee, owner of Fitwell Flooring, whose team kindly helped unload and organise the donations.

The Redruth Rotary Club works closely with local food banks and community organisations to support vulnerable families throughout the year, particularly during the Christmas period.
